Welcome, friend!

I am an optimist. I love questioning things and learning from everyday mundane things. I am on a career break to find things that I love working on.

I had a few goals as a child. Earlier this year I realised I have fulfilled all of them and have no new things to look forward to. I also lost my whimsy somewhere along the road, and since then have been travelling around the world to fill my life with experiences and creations.

I have travelled to 17 countries. Believe me when I say I never thought I could travel this much when I first got my passport in 2021.

I started my career as an iOS engineer, very sure that coding was my true passion and I would build and contribute to world-class apps. I did. But coding was not it. I experimented and worked at various places, and gathered enough experience to call myself a generalist.

I was recently a VC, where I backed pre-seed and seed founders and also led Investor Relations across two funds — Neurotech and Crypto. After working continuously for several years without a break, I started questioning what next. What do I want to work on for 20 years? How can I create an even larger impact?

So I started travelling — first to Sri Lanka, then Bali, and then SF. After spending two months in SF, I realised how much people value their time, how much they want to focus on creating an impact instead of just letting life happen to them.

I also toyed with the idea of creating my own premium vegan bag brand. When I worked on the designs, I truly understood what it meant to work on something of your own — something that you thought of and built. But after building my sample bag, I concluded that the idea was not impactful enough for me.

This site is where I keep track of what comes next.
